Western legacy comes to life in Wessington Springs

WESSINGTON SPRINGS, S.D. — After more than a decade of planning and fundraising, the Kyle Evans Western Heritage Center in Wessington Springs opened its doors over the recent holiday weekend, offering residents and visitors a long-awaited glimpse into the region’s cowboy heritage and cultural spirit.

Though still a work in progress, the museum is now welcoming the public — a major milestone in a project fueled by years of dedication.
