Each year, the South Dakota Hall of Fame invites the community to take part in two exclusive charity auctions, and together they help carry forward our mission to Champion a Culture of Excellence, honoring the people that make South Dakota extraordinary.
The Online Charity Auction is now open for bids through the evening of September 12. Browse a selection of art, experiences, and more, and place your bids from the comfort of your own home. The Live Charity Auction is an exciting in-person auction held on September 12, as part of the Honors Ceremony Banquet. This is a ticketed event, filled with celebration, storytelling, and community. To take part in the Live Auction, simply purchase your ticket to the banquet.
However you choose to participate, your bid makes a real difference. Every dollar raised through these auctions goes straight to work preserving South Dakota's history, inspiring youth across the state, and celebrating the remarkable achievements of South Dakotans past and present. Acts of Excellence | This program spotlights individuals and organizations whose efforts are forging a legacy of excellence in their communities, one inspiring act at a time.
Exhibits & Storytelling | Creating engaging displays and sharing multimedia stories at our Visitor & Education Center, keeping South Dakota’s history vibrant and accessible.
