Seminar: How to Prepare a SD Hall of Fame Nomination

The South Dakota Hall of Fame invites the public to nominate a champion of South Dakota who has made an impact in their community, state, and beyond to be included in the pool of candidates being considered for the Class of 2026*.

While the process is simple, it does require gathering materials and writing (a full list of required materials can be found here). These required submission materials serve as a road map on how a person has made an impact on their community, the state, and beyond.

Anyone who would like to learn more about nominating an individual into the South Dakota Hall of Fame may register for one of the organization’s free seminars to be held virtually over Zoom on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon MT | Noon to 1:00 p.m. CT and Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. MT | 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. CT
