This past year, the Guard provided honors at 85 funerals, and honors at an additional 28 events. The Guard provides Memorial Day Services to 5 area cemeteries on Memorial Day.

The Sturgis Honor Guard was established in 1948, and has been active since. As of 1995, the Guard has provided honors for 5,365 funerals.
