Welcoming New Board Members to the South Dakota Hall of Fame

We are happy to welcome in and introduce to you all our newest board members at the South Dakota Hall of Fame!

Leslie Hagele of Chicago, IL, and Bradley Haupt of Rapid City, SD, have joined our board of directors, and we look forward to the insight they bring to the South Dakota Hall of Fame.

Leslie Hagele, a Rapid City native, graduated from South Dakota State University in 2002 with a BS in consumer affairs and earned an MA in International Business, Marketing, and Management in 2007. 

Leslie has worked for companies and organizations such as Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Tampa Bay Rays MLB Baseball team, Feeding America, and is the current Director of Community Impact & Investment for Capital One. 

Leslie strives to create an environment for people to do their best work. She has had extensive experience leading teams through change, and enjoys coaching and developing people. Using an empathetic lens, Leslie leverages key relationships to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver strong results. She regularly champions ideas and builds broad-based support for strategic initiatives, while also ensuring space for others' voices. 


Bradley Haupt, a South Dakota Native, earned a BS in Chemistry from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, and an SDMBA in Global Operations & Supply Chain Management, Capella University.

Bradley went on to serve four years as a Pharmacy Specialist in the United States Air Force and soon returned back to South Dakota. He then went on to a career in the Medical Field, working at Regional Health (Now Monument Health) since 1993, and is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain for Monument Health

Bradley is a lifelong South Dakotan, who believes in honoring South Dakotan history and creating a vision for our state’s future. He was born in Webster, attended grade school in Pierre, high school in Bowdle, and graduated from Rapid City Central high school. Bradley has a true love of South Dakota’s people, landscape, and rich history.

We are thrilled to have Leslie and Bradley join our Board of Directors, and look forward to their insight and passion to help us Champion a Culture of Excellence.
