Former Rapid City Cobbler Adam Vinatieri selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) — A South Dakota native is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. Rapid City’s Adam Vinatieri was among the 5 players honored last night.
Adam Vinatieri is widely considered the greatest kicker in NFL history. He is the all-time NFL leading scorer with 2,673 points over his 24 year career.
“We love these moments where we can just celebrate and talk about all the great things that happened here at Central High School because our history is littered with them. We have such a proud alumni base. We are definitely proud to be Cobblers and proud of all the accomplishments of our alumni,” Central HS Principal Terry Lundeen said.
