Dakota State President José-Marie Griffiths to become university's chancellor
Dakota State University President José-Marie Griffiths will transition from President to Chancellor of DSU after this school year ends.
The position of Chancellor is a new one both to DSU and to any public university in South Dakota and was created to support DSU’s cyber programs on a national level.
Griffiths said in a statement it’s been the honor of her career to serve as DSU president and to work alongside faculty, staff, and students in the role.
“DSU has built a national reputation in cybersecurity and technology, while still maintaining our close-knit campus community,” Griffiths said. “I look forward to continuing to champion our cyber mission as an ambassador, helping Dakota State write its next chapter of success.”
