Barb Pearson-Cramer, a child of adoption herself, started a business with her husband to provide personalized adoption services to other families seeking children. The Faulkton-based agency is licensed to handle adoptions in South Dakota and North Dakota.

They were presented with an Acts of Excellence on April 3 in Aberdeen on the Northern State University Campus.
